WELCOME TO THE NEW SITE!!! There's a bunch of content from Saturn that I didn't upload because it honestly never got used. Tutorials are under co. right now but they'll be back up soon along with some new ones! Anyways, I'm soooo incredibly proud to be Puerto Rican. If you guys haven't been aware of all that's been happening here for the last two weeks, basically a Telegram group chat conversation was leaked between our governer and other people in the government where they said sexist and mysoginistic things, homophobic and transphobic things, made fun of fat people and people with disabilities, mocked the death of people who died because of hurricane MarΓa, and so many more vile things. Bear in mind our country has a large history of corruption in our government for decades now. It's a problem that's been plaguing our government and hasn't allowed us to move forward as much as we want. When that chat was leaked it kind of just sparked something in the people that was like "we've had enough." For thirteen consecutive days over a million people were out on the streets of the country protesting and demanding our governer to resign. Our country is notorious for always being silent and letting ourselves be walked over and abused by our corrupt government; we're notorious for being a divided people because of political parties and differences in political opinions, divided because of ageism and divided because of sexism and mysoginy. It was the first time the people of Puerto Rico united like this despite all these differences for one common goal: to fight for our rights as human beings and as people who are tired of corruption and people being in command who only care about personal gain and money rather than the well-being of our country. Never did anyone ever see this coming - that we would actually come together like this to fight and to protest. People of all ages, sexualities, gender, social classes and political parties went out on the streets to protest. The sight of so many Puerto Rican and LGBT+ flags being waved on the streets was so beautiful and made my heart swell. Last night, after 13 days of protest, we actually made history when our governer finally resigned. It was so amazing and beautiful to have lived through this. I have so much hope for the future of my country now, one that I truthfully didn't have before. This is a new era for Puerto Rico and I'm so excited to see my country get better. Have a gif of my baby Benito (Bad Bunny) who was at the protests hyping everyone up and being amazing <3
